Lasagna....... My way!!!

Ok... yes I am Italian... but other Italians will tell you that my recipe is NOT exactly 100% Italian.. which is true. However, I absolutely LOVEEEEE the way this tastes... however if you don't like it and want to replace an ingredient to satisfy your necessity to have authentic... be my guest :) !! I of course recommended this with my homemade spaghetti sauce ... but you can of course use whatever you prefer...

Ingredients: (makes one pan)
1 box of lasagna noodles
4 1/2 cups Dee's Red Sauce
1 large container of small curd cottage cheese (or substitute with 2 lb. container Ricotta cheese)
2 cups grated parmesan cheese
6 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Prep:
~Preheat oven to 350 degrees
~Spread like two large spoonfuls of sauce on bottom of pan
~Lay noodles length-wise of pan, overlapping the noodles - DO NOT COOK NOODLES, PUT IN RAW
~Spread a layer of cottage cheese over the noodles through the entire pan
~Spread 2 cups of mozzarella and sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese
~Spread 1 1/2 cups of sauce over cheeses
~Then layer noodles again
~Spread cottage cheese, mozzarella, parmesan and sauce again
~Then top with last two cups of mozzarella and parmesan, keep it away from the sides... when it starts to cook it will bubble over if it is to close to the edge...
~Bake for one hour, remove and let stand to cool, so it is easier to cut and serve later after you warm it up again.
~I recommend making this dish the day before or the morning of when you decide to eat it, just reheat when ready to eat...
