Turo Tots..... Potatoes of course!!!

A family recipe that we enjoy for breakfast or dinner!! It is a tasty side dish for any meal, but I absolutely LOVE them the second day... BUT if you are going to cook them on the second day... be sure to put them back in a skillet and use a little bit of butter to make them even crunchier. Personally I love them crunchy, but that is my personal opinion. I know some of my friends have made this dish already and enjoyed them very much! So... ENJOY!!

Ingredients:
6 peeled medium sized yellow potatoes, diced
1/4 tsp pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp oregano
1 tbl Lawry's seasoning salt
3 tbl olive oil
2 tbl butter

Prep:
~Wash, peel, & cube potatoes
~Mix all spices in a bowl
~Add potatoes and olive oil to pan, cook covered on med-high heat, until slightly browned, but tender enough to cut through with a spatula without forcing it
~When that is done, add spices and mix well
~Add the real butter and mix around, this browns the potatoes and makes them a bit more crunchy...
~Serve with any meal!!!

Italian Sausage with Turo Tots!

Just a side note: I love cooking peppers and onions for Italian Sausage - with olive oil & 1/8 tsp garlic powder...
